🌞 Vanilly Summer 2025 – Half-Year Update! 🍉

Hey, Vanilly Beans!

Can you believe we’re already halfway through 2025? It feels like just yesterday we were launching Vanilly 2.0 in November. Now here we are, with a whole treasure chest full of memories, mischief, and mayhem. Whether you've been mining diamonds, crafting chaos, or accidentally causing "minor" problems (👀 we see you), it’s been nothing short of an amazing ride.

✨ A Look Back at the First Half of the Year

The journey so far has been packed with excitement, change, and a whole lot of fun. From staff updates to unforgettable events, Vanilly has been bursting with life. We’ve made some exciting changes to our world, the Pale Oak Biome made its debut, and the spawn area got a fresh seasonal makeover with the addition of a new middle-spawn space perfect for our seasonal changes. Our Traveling Trader now camps out in a brand-new spot, and the Crystal Trader has carved himself a cozy new cave. We even retired an old crate and created a totally revamped seasonal crate area to keep things fresh and fabulous.

🏗️ Unleash Your Inner Architect – The New Plots Server!

One of our proudest additions this year has been the launch of our brand-new Plots Server! This creative space is all about giving you the freedom to build whatever your heart desires  from majestic castles to utter chaos (we support both equally). It’s also opened the door for more community-focused fun, like upcoming build events just like out Lobby build battle which happened in May. Let’s just say your creativity has already blown us away, and we can't wait to see what comes next.

💙 Welcoming Some New Faces to the Team

We’re beyond thrilled to officially welcome Aquahh_ as our new Community Manager! 🎉 Aquahh_ has been a part of the Vanilly family for over two years, and in that time, he’s become not just a familiar face, but a true pillar of our community. From being a close friend to many to playing a key role on the staff team, he’s helped shape Vanilly into the vibrant, welcoming space it is today.

Whether he’s planning top-tier events, creating unforgettable moments, or just hyping everyone up in chat, Aquahh_ brings energy, positivity, and passion to everything he does. His dedication to the server and its players is unmatched, and we’re beyond lucky to have him stepping into this leadership role.

Here’s to even more epic memories, laughs, and creative chaos with Aquahh_ leading the way! 💙

And let’s give a huge shoutout to Tynaaaa, who has officially stepped into her role as Admin! 🎉

Tynaaaa has been an incredible addition to the staff team. She became a Trainee the 8th of November, 2024, and JrMod already 22th of November, which was just 14 days! She became Mod 15th of April, 2025, so while she’s still fairly new to that position, she has consistently proven herself to be reliable, capable, and unafraid to speak her mind, even when it’s not the “popular opinion.” 

Which is exactly what is needed to fill such a difficult and mature role as the Administrator role. So everyone please give a warm welcome to our newest Admin 🩷 - Yertle

🐣 Easter + Spring Build Battle A cozy yet chaotic kickoff to the season where creativity bloomed alongside spring flowers!

🧠 Kahoot Night Trivia, laughs, and a little bit of friendly competition made this night unforgettable.

🔍 Easter Egg Hunt Players were dashing through the world like sugar-fueled rabbits in search of hidden eggs!

🎥 Movie Nights Chill evenings filled with community vibes  even if the popcorn was BYO. 🍿

🏗️ Build Battle: New Lobby Edition A fierce and fun competition to reimagine our lobby and wow, you delivered.

🏷️ Chat Tag Contest Creative chaos in chat form — your tag ideas were hilarious, clever, and absolutely Vanilly.

📖 Story Time with Smoke Wholesome chaos and community bonding as Smoke spun stories and surprises alike.

🎨 Art Map Event – Summer Theme A showcase of jaw-dropping talent and imagination that turned blocks into masterpieces.

😂 Stats & Shenanigans

If we tried to count how many blocks have been placed this year, we’d be here until 2026 — it’s a lot. As for how many pets were lost to lava… let’s not reopen old wounds. And when it comes to the amount of caffeine consumed by staff? We’re honestly defying the laws of biology at this point. Here are some fun leaderboards we have had the last few weeks.
